I have a question about keeping people's stats. Should they wear them in there signature for quick reference, and then keep a reference topic with everyone's information in an invisible forum?

as it just so happens, just today I decided what to do about that...
a link in everyone's sig's to their signup topic... (1ST LINE)
stats kept up-to-date there
your responsible for your own updates, as needed; but to help me control everything, I'm going to appoint the two most active members from 12:00 AM August 7, 2007 EST until right when the RP starts as global mods to help with this RP (activity, among other things, will be a determining factor... most likly 2 PD members for these spots)

I'll be on a lot since I have a whole 'nother month before school starts and I have nothing to do.
I also have a suggestion:
After the RP starts, we should start working on an "Exploring Ashur" feature, where you can create another character, and, rather than sticking to the plot, explore ashur (with a different character). In a few ways, the exploring feature and the ctual RP could affect eachother.

I almost forgot, I had made up some ideas for the placement of shards in the cities:
-Luciv's crystal is inside the cave in the forest we set out for a while back in the old one.
-Karrod (You'll like this one): The bottom of Lake Serenity. (Boss idea: Sea monster!)
-Ralik: The Ralikian palace dungeons. (This is harder than it sounds, the Ralikians will not let you in right away because they are so strict.) (Boss idea: Ralikian lord.)
-Drasia: In the middle of an ancient glacier, which is at the tip of the Northern ridge, in the middle of an icy desert.
-Moriad: This one was hard, but I think the best way to go would be an incredibly big puzzle of clues leading to the top of a huge palm tree.
-Caglar: They give it to you when you get there, after you complete trials or something. (Prophecy, passed crystal down generations, etc.) Getting there will also be a challenge.
-Duath: It is held by the pirate "Lord" (or "king", or "prince, etc.) You must battle him overseas. Another idea would be for it to be on mystic island, but that is owned by Ralik.
-Kran: Obviously, the heart of a volcano.
-Frath: The shard is placed in the hilt of the sword of the war leader. He'll only give it if you beat the tournament (sword fighting). (Boss idea: the war leader is the tournament champion.)
-Ramner: In the middle of the ancient catacombs. (Boss idea: The gem powers a giant machine, you know the rest.)

Vash shouldn't you be creating borads for the locations and shops. Are is everything going to be in one big topic.

several questions to answer...
you can explore ashur with your main character (in some ways, you'll need to to find some of the shards)
I'll think about the locations for where they are
all characters have hp (health points) and magic users have mp (magic points) if hp drops to 0, you pass out, if hp drops to far negative, you die mp determines how good a magic user is with certain spells
that's the second time someone has suggested different boards for the rp... i'll think about that one, but since my compy is down, i doubt i'll time to implement that idea
